I know a lot of people would like that; and probably relish the idea of learning how to create their own. I think the only thing we'd have to be concerned about is copyright issues like those that hit OLGA some years ago. Anyone else want to chime in?

If a tab section were to be created, is it possible to 'hide' it by only allowing registered users to see it? I belong to a few other boards that have entire movies, albums, etc. available for download, but only if you're a registered member, which prevents casual browsers from knowing that there is more than meets the eye. Just a thought.

It's certainly possible to hide a forum (guests are not able to search profiles anymore, for instance); but even then, we might still have concerns. As it stands, we have a fairly open signup process (although we've instituted some new hurdles to combat comment spam); and it would still be possible to have posts viewed. I don't really want to get into having a forum that would be "by invitation" (like Oink) or where an admin would have to approve members.

Still, a tab forum is still a good idea; and I think it can happen. It'll just take a bit of research as to what we can do. I know that OLGA still sort of exists...as well as other tab sites. We'll have to check on what 'rules' we'd have to follow.

And maybe Andy could give some tips & tabs for the accordion.

Actually, long before the RIAA histrionics over P2P file sharing, people were coming after OLGA. A shame too, 'cause they had a lot of stuff that was never published in a songbook and probably never will be.
