LL on LMA

Los Lobos has been added to the allowed artists at the Live Music Archive.

Not many shows there yet as it's apparently new new new. Wonder if the "no sbds from 2000-present" restriction will remain in place?

I would imagine that all the rules about what is allowable to share stay the same, with SBD's restricted for the most part. Normally, the rules are linked to the "collection."

As I wasn't involved in the most recent effort to get shows onto the LMA, I'm not sure when this happened or who spearheaded the push. I did know that there was yet another effort afoot to make it happen; and I'm aware that in the recesses of the Archive were a number of LL shows posted in "personal" collections over the years.

Hopefully this is all righteous and the flood gates open.

Now, to get everything in proper format to upload to the Archive.

I saw two shows on trader's den this morning that were boards post cut off date with a note that they were ok to post pending the LMA notification...now I know what LMA is
