it is too far for both, but the hot springs should be the tipping point.

I wanted to go to this show, but the logistics put it out of reach.
I am however going to the show on July 6 in NYC.....can't wait.....and maybe the other free show in Maplewood, NJ. :yahoo:

Hoping someone has an inside track on a Fillmore date for this year. I realize that announcement is still a few months off. (Looks like they tend to come in September.) But Mando said they'd be doing it, and I was hoping to do a CA trip for my  :o :o 60th birthday in October. But I can probably wait until December.

Although, as 'pups has said, there's always Hardly Strictly, if the boys are playing it. But I think the Fillmore will offer the best Lobos experience.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Louie Perez would never write a lyric like "Over the mountain, down in the valley, lives a former talk show host." OR "Ever since the watermelon," for that matter. I mean WTF??

Amazing show from the boys last night.Loose doesn`t begin to describe this one.Rye apparently figured into the atmosphere.Heres to more rye in the future.2 sets.Set 1:Wolf,Shakes,The Valley,Chucos,Revas house,Wicked,Matter of Time,Georgia Set2:Up the line,Canto,Angels with dirty faces,Train don't stop,High Places,Kiko,LSG,Got to let you know,NFA>Bertha Encore:Light Up,Cinnamon Girl.Any show with a nice chunk of Kiko is alright for me.Dave was spectacular.Had a blue strat that just sounded soooooooo sweet. And this was one of the best shows from Steve I have seen.Plus Louie smiled during `Got to let you know`.Honest.Swear to god.No shitting.Dave made a special request for himself for `High Places`.I wanted to shout out requests, but also wanted to see how this played out.Someone shouted for `Tomorrow never knows`.Surprised Cesar.Maybe the Fillmore?

I wuz being sarcastic...  :o  he prolly did write them

Yeah, the music was always the issue... they went into the studio with him, he had nothing to provide musically (except for being dumb enough to hand his guitar to rovalle to tune) so the band in an attempt to make the best of the time came up with this nifty melody, which Little Boots promptly took credit for and added lyrics for... Little Boots has always been a master at cultural appropriation.
