Open Forum / Where's Conrad??

I love seeing Dave's kids getting involved, but the last several concerts I've found online have Conrad missing from the line up.

Anyone have a clue if this is a temporary or maybe just logistical thing?

The Hidalgo boys may be the band's future, but I don't think I'm quite ready for a future without Conrad.

Man, it's crickets in here, no posts in over a month.

Well, I am one giddy cat right now, tickets secured for the show referenced in the subject line. So hoping for an old school show like some of the setlists from late last year and early this year. Yeah, my baby wants to hear "Too Small Heart", request sent in to friends in high places.

Y'all be safe and sage out there

Last may I went to a show that David was missing. Last night (Nov. 10 2021) Cesar wasn't onstage. Anyone know what's going on? I'm not getting to see the real Los Lobos if both aren't there.

Film trailer

Washington, DC—The National Endowment for the Arts, in partnership with the National Council for the Traditional Arts, will present The Culture of America: A Cross-Country Visit with the 2021 National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellows, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 8:00 pm ET. Emmy Award-winning actor Jimmy Smits will host the film and take viewers on a virtual trip across the country where this year's National Heritage Fellows live and work. The pre-recorded virtual presentation will be webcast free to the public at arts.gov.

Take a trip down memory lane with Los Lobos as members of the band reminisce about their beginnings in East Los Angeles, California, and the folkloric musical influences that are embedded in their music, which provide the roots for the band's own sound today.

Looks like additional tickets were made available. People who did not agree to vaccination or testing requirements were able to return their tickets.

I gotchu.

Quote from: JesseTheLawyer on September 25, 2021, 11:52:49 AMI want this recording!

It still holds true: Friends don't let friends listen to MP3's.
Unless forced to do otherwise, I must have lossless compression -- I miss those 0's and 1's. Yes, I can tell the difference. I can't dance, and I can't sing -- But my ear is pretty fucking sensitive.

Off to the interwebs to search for .flac version of Cesar's work....I will check back in once I return from the ether wilderness....Well, unless my girlfriend murders me and goes back to parents' home in Florida, and then goes on fugitive run in to the everglades [too soon?]

Peace, ese

Who's going to the sold out shows at the new Antones?

There will be BBQ and beer in there somewhere.
