That's been news for awhile now... they seem to be a festival favorite (ditto Strawberry) there... It looks like it is a very mellow scene and I've heard from many that it is a great festival overall... great lineup this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see sit ins with the band from John Hiatt and Amy Helm (it would be even cooler if they could manage to get Booker T to sit in).... alas, once again we won't make it to this festie  >:(

I wonder what / if there's a charge for the concerts... I've been to Mul-Chu-Tha many times for the pow wow and the food (be sure Dave's hip to the red chili... mighty fine...) but, never a concert out there...

I think it's just part of the general admission

This show is now sold out. I'm looking for two tickets. Would much rather see them here than at Moe's Alley.

which I believe is also sold out...

ok, very odd little show, not really too sure what to make of the show, format or anything really. Little 3 song mini set a week ago today, same night CWineryATL, so no Steve., as the band and digital game show shenanigans occur with a superimposed fish tank behind the band etc.

The band looked bored as shit in the studio segment with that silliness, only one really engaged in banter with the hosts was CR.

I look forward to finding the companion cd.

Goodnight all, I am beat.

On LL merch site you can get it, and it should redirect you to the Mexican community center that published the book and is receiving all proceeds, they are in Sylmar, CA. Or maybe you just get it frm the merch site--In any case, no one should buy the book or CD on Amazon or anywhere else except through LL merch, that way the center gets all the money.

love you  ;)

the art included is beautiful and had me wondering whether he's done any comprehensive showing in a gallery before...

Yes, indeed--Louie's graphic art has been included in gallery shows internationally.  My brain is short on details right now, but there is a very high-falutin' Canadian gallery that had his pieces exhibited and included in a show that I believe featured artists who are also musicians.
I am personally partial to acrylics, though LP does a lot of pen & ink, guache, water color, etc.  The painting that is the cover of the book is small, maybe about 8" x 6".
I believe his graphic art is definitely for sale for those interested. I would like a piece some day.
