When is Los Lobos playing Vegas? I would love to see them back at Boulder Station. Nice venue.

Ric, yes, I met both of you that night. It was Breeders Cup weekend. I had a great time.

Also, on the Friday night of the show, the band kept asking for updates on the Garfield-Roosevelt game.

This is a "Kiko" show with Amy Helm (Levon's daughter) opening - looks like it's part of a four-show east coast tour (with perhaps more dates coming...not sure):

09/27/12   Showcase Live at Patriot Place   Foxboro   MA   Performing Kiko in its entirety. Amy Helm (Levon's Daughter) is opening
09/28/12   Music Hall   Tarrytown   NY   Performing Kiko in its entirety. Amy Helm (Levon's Daughter) is opening
09/30/12   Keswick Theatre   Glenside   PA   Performing Kiko in its entirety. Amy Helm (Levon's Daughter) is opening
10/01/12   Birchmere   Alexandria   VA   Performing Kiko in its entirety. Amy Helm (Levon's Daughter) is opening

I may have mentioned here - I saw Amy Helm open for Marc Cohn in NYC in January, and she blew me away. Great voice, great choice of material.

Birchmere is a possibility, though I find the place kinda snooty and overrated. However, since the LL/Neil Young show in Pittsburgh is eight days later, and I've seen them do Kiko before (as the live DVD will hopefully not attest) that might be a tough sell to the co-parent.

Plus Springsteen just announced a Pittsburgh show in late October, and....well, I'm probably not going to DC. As you were...

amazingly Jim I remember meeting you and your brother after the show and hanging out for a while. That was pretty cool.

I also remembering making up a football score every now and then and yelling it to the band. I always had the good guys winning and they did end up winning (they usually do).

Hopefully we can meet up again, that was a fun night!

Yeah, I had a good time that night. Give me a holler if you're ever up in SF for a show.
